Join us to learn which plants to remove and which to keep in your garden!

Every gardener has weeds to deal with! Knowing which plants to remove, and which to keep, is essential to maintaining your garden. This presentation by a Toronto Master Gardener will describe the different types of weeds, the ways they spread, and how to control them. Some weeds are harder to manage than others and some of the more difficult ones will be described with advice for dealing with them. Two apps for plant ID will be introduced. Samples of weeds will be provided so you can try out your new ID skills. If you have a problematic plant you are welcome to bring it for ID (in a zip-loc bag please!).

Tuesday, June 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Registration: Public $15, TBG Members $10 (plus applicable taxes and fees)

About Helen Battersby

A frequent speaker in the GTA and Southern Ontario, her online presentations have reached appreciative audiences from the west to the east coasts.
