TBGKids Camps and Family Programs

Join TBGKids for nature fun! We offer hands-on learning experiences in the Wilket Creek Ravine and our outdoor Teaching Garden which has raised garden beds and a vegetable patch sown and harvested by kids. Produce from the garden are donated to the North York Harvest Food Bank. Our cozy and engaging indoor classroom houses learning stations, collections of living plants, and preserved nature specimens.

Nature Camps

Join TBGKids for fun-filled exploration at our nature camps during Summer, March Break, and PA Days. Your kids will unplug and reconnect with nature in the Teaching Garden and Wilket Creek ravine, and make nature crafts in TBG’s cozy nature classroom. Camps will start and end in The James Boyd Children’s Centre at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Extended care is also available.

Summer and March Break Camps are offered for campers 4 to 12 years of age. PA Camps are designed for campers 5 to 10 years of age.

Sprout Club

Are you looking for engaging programs that entertain and enrich early development? Join us on Monday mornings to learn easy ways to introduce them to nature. Through songs, stories, and outdoor activities your little one and you will develop a deeper connection with nature, build community, and have fun! 

Sprout Club is designed for children 18 months to 4 years of age.

Busy schedule? Before and after care is available. TBGKids staff will provide supervision for free play and light recreational games, crafts, and nature activities. Drop off campers as early as 8 a.m. and pick up as late as 5 p.m. $60 per camper, per week ($48 for a short week). Sign up for extended care when you register for camp.

TBG Summer Camp Referral Program. Introducing TBG’s Summer Camp Referral Program. Refer a friend who registers and you will get $25 in TBG Camp Credit, plus both you and your friend will be entered into a raffle to win a free week of March Break camp. It’s easy – just pass along your email address and encourage them to sign up and list you as the referrer in their emailed registration form. You’ll receive an email with your camp credit*. amount at the end of the summer, based on the number of people who registered and listed you as a reference. Join our community and get rewarded for your support! *Camp credits are good for up to a year after receiving them.

Summer Camp Refund Policy. Refunds for summer camps will only be offered when requests are made four weeks prior to the program start date. In the event that the Toronto Botanical Garden cancels a program, attendees will be notified by email and receive a full refund.
