Get the most out of your garden visit by booking a guided tour led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides. Tours are offered from mid-May through to early October. We have a variety of tours to choose from, see description below. Pre-registration is required. Toronto Botanical Garden and Edwards Gardens

This 90-minute tour includes a guided walk through the beautiful themed gardens and a stroll into the beloved Edwards Gardens. You’ll learn about the history of these gardens and the beautiful selection of plants, pollinators, and ecological aspects.

Toronto Ravine

This 90-minute tour includes a guided walk through the Wilket Creek Ravine adjacent to the Toronto Botanical Garden, to discover the beauty and challenges faced by urban green spaces.

Guided Garden & Green Roof Tour

This 60-minute special focus tour includes a guided walk through the beautiful TBG gardens, with a closer look at our green roofs along the way. You’ll learn about the history and modern use of green roof structures, how they function, and the unique plantings they support. We’ll also highlight recent renovations to our own green roofs and other eco-friendly structures in the gardens, showcasing innovative uses of traditional building materials.

Health and Safety Guidelines

  • The Garden will follow Toronto Public Health guidelines that are in place at the time of the tour.
  • Pre-registration is required to ensure we can communicate any last-minute changes in the schedule and for contact tracing purposes.
  • Public washrooms and hand sanitizers are available onsite.

Every effort will be made to deliver tours as scheduled; however, they may be canceled due to inclement weather or last-minute changes (e.g. tour guide cancellation).
