How does a garden become a meal? With our help of course! Campers will spend their days in the Teaching Garden learning how to grow herbs and vegetables, harvesting fresh ingredients, making food art and creating delicious treats.

ZimSculpt ZimSculpt

Back for its second year, the outdoor art exhibition “ZimSculpt” showcases hundreds of stone sculptures by many of Zimbabwe’s most renowned contemporary artists. Admission is free and all sculptures are available for purchase. The exhibition runs from June through September 2019.

The works are chiseled, hand-carved, sanded and polished by artists who draw upon a wide variety of inspiration. From dramatic modern styling praised by Henry Moore, to more contemplative “village” pieces that capture African life, these sculptures project a vibrancy that has captivated audiences around the world. The setting of Toronto’s most beautiful garden for this great art highlights the beauty of both.

Exhibition runs June 28 – September 8, 2019.

Edwards Summer Music Series - Payadora Tango Ensemble Edwards Summer Music Series - Payadora Tango Ensemble

Payadora is a four-piece band of musicians including Rebekah Wilkstein on violin & voice, Drew Jurecka on bandoneon, Robert Horvath on piano and Joseph Phillips on double bass. This contemporary chamber music ensemble, performs Argentinian/Uruguayan tango and folk music and original compositions. They have performed at numerous sold-out shows including the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Harbourfront Centre, Toronto Music Festival, the Jazz Bistro, the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, and for the Canadian Opera Company’s World Music Series.
