ZimSculpt ZimSculpt

Back for its second year, the outdoor art exhibition “ZimSculpt” showcases hundreds of stone sculptures by many of Zimbabwe’s most renowned contemporary artists. Admission is free and all sculptures are available for purchase. The exhibition runs from June through September 2019.

The works are chiseled, hand-carved, sanded and polished by artists who draw upon a wide variety of inspiration. From dramatic modern styling praised by Henry Moore, to more contemplative “village” pieces that capture African life, these sculptures project a vibrancy that has captivated audiences around the world. The setting of Toronto’s most beautiful garden for this great art highlights the beauty of both.

Exhibition runs June 28 – September 8, 2019.

Edwards Summer Music Series - The Wanted Edwards Summer Music Series - The Wanted

For the second act in this year’s Edwards Summer Music Series, four-piece group The Wanted will be taking over our gardens. Reconstructing roots music, The Wanted fuse together folk, blues and country. Tracks from their CD have aired on CBC Radio 1 and many other roots music programs throughout North America and around the world, and have been streamed over 275,000 times on Spotify.
