Explore the evolution of the therapeutic use of gardens and gardening. This introduction to professional practice in Horticultural Therapy (HT) will focus on the many proven benefits of connecting with plants. Examine the therapeutic foundations used to create HT programs for diverse populations.

Through the Garden Gate: North Rosedale & Moore Park Through the Garden Gate: North Rosedale & Moore Park

Toronto Botanical Garden’s 30th annual Through the Garden Gate is one of Canada’s largest private garden tours. This self-guided tour enables participants to discover the gardens at their own pace following a map and garden guide containing descriptions of the featured gardens. A complimentary shuttle bus service is available for participants to “hop on and hop off” along the route. Knowledgeable Toronto Master Gardeners will be at each garden to answer any questions about the plant materials and design features. More info…
