Native Bee Discovery Series

Join Prafulla Prabhu in this two-night workshop to learn about this keystone species, a critical part of our ecosystems and our lives. Bees are a critical part of our ecosystems and our lives. From coffee, fruits, vegetables, to candles, wax artworks, cotton and so much more – bees play an important role in modern life. More importantly, they are responsible for a third of the food we consume on a regular basis. With changes to our climate, our interdependent relationship is coming into sharper focus. Join Prafulla Prabhu in this two-night workshop to learn about this keystone species.
  • April 18 –  Learn more about bees in North America, the differences between native bees and honeybees, and how we might support them
  • April 19 – Learn more about gentle solitary bees in North America, why native bees are great pollinators, and how we might support native bees against threats.
