Toronto Botanical Garden has partnered with Mira Kopanarov, a Storyteller and Artist, to offer a six-month breathwork experience program for creative transformation. Each class is independent and tailored towards gradual body and mind care. You can register for as many or as few as you like.

The Guided Breathwork Experience program at the Toronto Botanical Garden uniquely combines breath with storytelling, movement, and nature to create a healthy and creative journey into the new year. Each class’ focus will be different, progressively allowing your awareness and body to be healthier and energized. The facilitator will help you with grounding, emotional resilience, community support, and ultimately cultivating freedom and confidence in all areas of life through day-to-day practices.

Purpose in June will be a class designed for anyone longing to find purpose and guidance pursuing it. From an early age, we are put in boxes and listen to social narratives. We start defining ourselves through our studies, work, families and social circles.

The media and business shape our wants and needs and little time is left to ask “what am I here for?”. For the ones who ask this question, the fear of responsibilities and obligations keeps the calling at bay.

This is when the body absorbs the longing and starts showing us through various pains and signs that something within wants to come out. There is no age to find and expand your purpose.

Releasing stagnant energies from the body and listening to your inner purpose are the two most important ingredients for a healthy and happy life.

The breathwork class includes meditation, creative practice, active breathing for 40 mins, and movement. The session is complimented by organic teas and healthy snack. 2+ hours.

June is full of sunshine and life. The ideal time to listen to the inner calling and discover a simple yet powerful path within- your purpose. Open your senses, embrace nature and ask within “What am I here for, how can I serve, how do I blossom”?

Friday, June 6 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Registration: Public $66, TBG Members $59 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
