Through the Garden Gate: Hoggs Hollow

One of Toronto’s largest tours of private gardens. Garden-goers will have the opportunity to visit 14 residential gardens, of varying sizes and themes in the unique Toronto enclave of Hogg’s Hollow.
Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8, 2025, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
One-Day Pass, Public $45, TBG Member $40
Two-Day Pass, Public $70, TBG Member $65
Two-Day Student/Child Pass, $25
Tickets are limited, and advance purchase is recommended. The tour will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Garden seekers will also have a chance to ask questions and learn something too! Knowledgeable Toronto Master Gardeners will be stationed in each garden and are happy to answer plant and garden design questions. All proceeds from the tour support the Toronto Botanical Garden.
NEW! Onsite pop-ups with musicians, neighbourhood and history experts, including the North York Historical Society and Lost Rivers. Wristband holders will also receive dining discounts at a local restaurant and plant retailer.
This outdoor event can be enjoyed solo or with family and friends. Stroll along the tree-lined streets while skipping in and out of gardens. Come early or linger after the tour to shop or dine at one of the local restaurants in the area.
Features include:
- A self-guided format to discover the gardens at your own pace following a printed guide and map.
- Access a comprehensive digital guide with full descriptions of the featured gardens, historical facts, touring tips, and more.
- Wildflower seed paper wristband will give you access to the gardens, shuttle buses and dining discounts. After the event, you can plant it in your garden!
- A complimentary shuttle bus service is available for participants to “hop on and hop off” along the route, which is also very walkable.

Located in the parking lot beside the Jolly Miller Park at 3885 Yonge Street, M4N 2P2
Open on the weekend of the tour only from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Paid parking is available in lot 414 beside the headquarters.
The closest subway station is York Mills Station, approximately 300 metres from headquarters.
