About this event

Get the most out of your membership by learning more about the resources available to you at the Weston Family Library, Canada’s largest privately held botanical and horticultural collection. Members enjoy borrowing privileges from our catalogue of over 10,000 titles including books, magazines, digital resources, reference services, and a children’s collection. Meet our new Librarian, Robin Rakowsky, who will provide an overview of our library services, offer book recommendations, and speak about library programs. Bring your questions and a book bag!

About Librarian Robin Rakowsky

Robin Rakowsky graduated with a Masters of Information Studies from the University of Toronto in 1999. She also holds a certification in Professional Floral Design from Seneca College, which she received in 2018. She has worked in public, school, and special libraries, and has professional experience in floral design and with volunteers.

The Weston Family Library

Weston Family Library has Canada’s largest privately held botanical and horticultural collection. The Library has many books on connecting with nature and its wonders. The public is welcome to come in and ask us about the library and its membership options! Members enjoy borrowing privileges from our catalogue of over 10,000 titles including books, magazines, digital resources, reference services, and a children’s collection. Members and the public are welcome to browse the collection online or during library hours.
