Become a Donor

Despite everything that is happening around us, the flowers continue to bloom, the birds sing, and we hope in the near future we will resume our regular garden activities. Many have asked how they can help during this time. Your unwavering support means everything to us. If you would like to make a donation to the garden, you can do so here. Thank you!

Toronto Botanical Garden relies on the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to maintain and operate the gardens and to offer an engaging botanical and cultural experience that enriches the lives of its citizens. Collectively, we are able to educate over 6,000 children and 10,000 adults every year on important environmental and horticultural issues that affect our community.

Over 99 per cent of our operating budget is self-generated through course revenues, membership fees, special events, and the generous support of many donors.

Donations
A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and goes to support the many wonderful programs and gardens at the TBG.  All donations are acknowledged and donations over $10 receive a charitable tax receipt for the full amount.

Tribute, Celebratory, and In Memoriam Gifts
Celebrating a Special Occasion? Here’s a wonderful way to acknowledge the joy of a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, or other special occasions. We will send a card to the honouree informing them that you have made a donation in their honour. Depending on the type of In Memoriam or Celebratory gift selected, we can arrange a private unveiling or planting ceremony.

Gifts of Stock
It’s easy to make a donation of securities to the Toronto Botanical Garden, which is a registered educational charity, and beneficial to you as well as us. The TBG will issue a charitable tax receipt for the full appreciated value of your gift, based on the closing trading price on the day it is received. Your donation will help support the TBG gardens, along with the educational and community-focused programs and activities that make TBG Toronto’s dynamic horticultural hub.
