One of Toronto’s largest tours of private gardens. Garden-goers will have the opportunity to visit 12 residential gardens, in the unique Toronto enclave of the Beach or as some call it, the Beaches. Garden seekers will also have a chance to ask questions and learn something, too! Knowledgeable Toronto Master Gardeners will be stationed in each garden and are happy to answer plant and garden design questions. While you’re touring, look forward to pop-up musical performances, and local experts.

This outdoor event can be enjoyed solo or with family and friends, strolling along the tree-lined streets, while skipping in and out of gardens. Come early or linger after the tour to shop or dine at one of the local restaurants in the area. All proceeds from the tour support the Toronto Botanical Garden.

To pick up your wristband you can simply show your digital confirmation on your phone and/or provide the ticket buyers name. You DO NOT need to bring a paper printout of your ticket confirmation.

Please note: We will do our best to ensure you can quickly pick up your wristband and maps from headquarters. We will have a team managing traffic control at the front of the school. Please listen to their instructions when you arrive onsite.

Your one or two-day pass includes:

A self-guided format to discover the gardens at your own pace following a printed guide and map.

Access a comprehensive digital guide with full descriptions of the featured gardens, historical facts, touring tips, and more.

Wildflower seed paper wristband will give you access to the gardens, shuttle buses and dining discounts. After the event, you can plant it in your garden!

A complimentary shuttle bus service is available for participants to “hop on and hop off” along the route, which is also very walkable.

There is no other neighbourhood quite like The Beach. While you’re in the area, take a stroll along Queen Street East from Woodbine Ave to Neville Park Blvd. Thanks to our community partnership with The Beach BIA you’ll have access to digital walking routes that connect to local businesses and the surrounding natural/public spaces.

And when you travel along Kingston Road from Main Street to Victoria Park, you’ll find yourself in Kingston Road Village which offers a charming, small-town feel within the city. This off-the-beaten path neighbourhood is known for its independent boutiques, cozy cafés, and locally loved restaurants that reflect the area’s creative spirit.
