National Volunteer Week at TBG

National Volunteer Week in Ontario and this year’s theme is: “Celebrate the Value of Volunteering – building confidence, competence, connections and community”.

Whether your role is with our Reception, Shop or Library, helping maintain our gardens, helping with education events for adults and kids, leading tours, welcoming our visitors and helping at many special events, or working behind the scenes on our many volunteer committees from the Trellis team, teams for our special events, to the pressed cards team, you are all instrumental in helping the Toronto Botanical Garden meet its mission and vision. Which are, connecting people to plants, inspiring us to live in harmony with nature and be renowned for our display of nature’s beauty and as a dynamic hub for plant-centered learning, conservation and research.

We currently have 492 on our TBG volunteer list and we appreciate and need every one of you.

On behalf of us all at TBG, thank you so much for all that you do for this worthy not for profit organization.
