April 12, 2021 – The Toronto Botanical Garden is looking to add some new talent to its dedicated Board of Directors which will help to guide the organization through its ambitious expansion plans. We will be electing a new slate of Board Directors this June and have an opportunity to fill eight board vacancies.
The TBG Board Nominations Committee has undertaken a thorough review of the skills and experience needed to ensure the new board will have diversity and representation from the broader community. In addition to a passion for gardens, the board is looking for individuals who have expertise in the following areas: conservation, marketing and communications, education, human resources, legal, finance and accounting, fundraising and retail.
At the same time, TBG is also accepting nominations for our Board Committees which include the Governance Committee, Finance & Audit Committee, Development Committee, Expansion Committee, and Mission Committee.
