What to know before you go

As of November 30, 2021 – For the safety of all please follow the current guidance of the City of Toronto and practice physical distancing of at least two meters and refrain from leaving your home if you are feeling unwell.
Our gardens as well as Edwards Gardens and the Don Valley ravine are open for you to enjoy. The gardens are open from dawn until dusk and admission is FREE! For What’s in Bloom in our gardens follow us on Facebook and Instagram

If you are attending an indoor event or program at the gardens

  • Masking and physical-distancing measures remain in effect.
  • People ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend an indoor event at TBG. This is in response to a public health order by the Government of Ontario. Between September 22 and October 12, 2021, the government has confirmed that a negative antigen COVID test that was taken no more than 48 hours prior can be used to gain access to an indoor reception associated with a wedding.
  • To make your visit to TBG as smooth as possible, please be prepared to present proof of full vaccination along with an official government ID upon entry to the event.
  • You are considered fully vaccinated if:
    • At least 14 days have passed since your second dose of an approved two-dose vaccine (AstraZeneca/Serum, BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna)
    • At least 14 days have passed since you received an approved single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson)You can download your vaccination receipts from the Government of Ontario’s vaccine booking portal. Alternatively, you can use the official immunization receipt you received when you got your final dose.

If you are attending an outdoor event or program at the gardens

If you are attending a wedding, event, or educational program which is held outdoors and does not have an associated indoor reception, you will not be required to provide proof of vaccination.
