March 2021 Update – Our gardens as well as Edwards Gardens and the Don Valley ravine are open for you to enjoy. The gardens are open from dawn until dusk and admission is FREE! For the safety of all please follow the current guidance of the City of Toronto and practice physical distancing of at least two meters and refrain from leaving your home if you are feeling unwell. Our building is temporarily closed to the public and staff are working remotely.
The parking lot adjacent to the gardens is also open. Parking is $2.50 per hour with all proceeds supporting the Toronto Botanical Garden which is a registered charity. TBG members receive FREE parking. For more information on paid parking at TBG or if you’d like to a member click here.
Onsite washrooms are available in the adjacent Edwards Gardens
. They are open daily from 9 a.m. to dusk from October 2020 through April 2021. These washrooms are managed by the City of Toronto. The washrooms in the TBG building remain temporarily closed.
Shopping & Dining
The Garden Shop is closed for in person shopping but you can still shop via our online Garden Shop
with at home delivery and curbside pickup options. The TBG Bloom Cafe is closed for the season and will reopen in April. Check their instagram (@tbgbloomcafe
) for updates.
Education at TBG
All in person educational programs have been paused. Adult Education programs are now offered online. If you have further questions please send us an email.
Booking your event at TBG
We are accepting event booking in the gardens for 2021 and 2022. Indoor and outdoor options are available. Please contact our rental department for further details.
