Join TBGKids for nature fun! We offer hands-on learning experiences in the Wilket Creek Ravine and our outdoor Teaching Garden, which features raised garden beds and a vegetable patch sown and harvested by children. Produce from the garden are donated to the North York Harvest Food Bank. Our cozy and engaging indoor classroom houses learning stations, collections of living plants, and preserved nature specimens.

P.A. Day Camp
Experience camp fun in a day at TBG’s nature-themed P.A. Day camps! Join TBGKids for interactive, educational, and engaging activities in our cozy nature-themed classroom, expansive grade, and nearby ravine. Learn more.

Winter Day Camp
Don’t let winter keep your child indoors – give them a chance to experience the season in a new way. This camp is designed to inspire a love for nature and discovery, with a new theme each day, exploring everything from wildlife to science. Learn more.

Summer Day Camp Visits
Introduce your group to the world of pollinators with Pollinator Pals, a fully outdoor summer program at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Kids will enjoy bug-catching, scavenger hunts, seed ball crafting, and more while learning about pollinators’ essential role in our ecosystem. Extend the adventure with a self-guided hike-in-a-bag to explore Edwards Garden and Wilket Creek.

Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s special day at Toronto Botanical Garden! Kids will explore nature with our Nature Educator, paint and decorate pots, and propagate plants to take home. Afterward, enjoy free time in the nature-themed James Boyd Children’s Centre for cake, presents, and fun with family and friends.

Scouts and Guides Nature Programs
Give your Scouts or Guides an engaging experience with TBG’s 2-hour hands-on nature programs. Each visit includes interactive activities that explore plants, wildlife, and the natural world in fun, meaningful ways. We offer flexible weekend bookings, and we’re happy to tailor the program if your group has a specific badge, theme, or learning goal in mind.

School Visits
Take your students outdoors for curriculum‑connected, hands‑on learning at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Classes explore the Teaching Garden, hike through TBG’s gardens and the Wilket Creek ravine, and engage in sensory‑rich, nature‑based activities that support science and environmental learning. All programs take place outdoors whenever possible and include opportunities to plant or harvest in the garden.
