Join Toronto-based artist, designer and letterer Alicia Spence as she demonstrates different watercolour techniques and inspires you to explore your creativity. Experiment with various colours, shapes, and subjects as you celebrate the beauty of nature.
Enjoy a different theme each week:
- Tuesday June 1: Loose Floral Techniques
Learn how to get started with watercolours and create some loose floral designs with simple brush strokes.
- Tuesday June 8: Inspired by the Garden
Take a virtual walk through the Toronto Botanical Garden and get inspired by nature to put brush to paper.
- Tuesday June 15: Herbal Art
Learn to illustrate and paint different herbs to create beautiful herbal artwork, while learning about their unique properties.
- Tuesday June 22: Botanical Illustration
Learn to illustrate flowers and monstera leaves and paint them in with layers of watercolours. All skill levels welcome. A supply list will be provided with registration.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Alicia Spence is a Toronto-based artist and instructor, specializing in lettering, painting and mixed media. She loves sharing what she’s learned as a self-taught artist in creative workshops at the Toronto Botanical Garden and across Southern Ontario.
