Mid-morning walk learning about how to best walk to be less stressful on your body and to enjoy the garden.

We can’t remember a time when we couldn’t walk, but when was the last time you actually thought about walking? It’s not just your feet that take you on that stroll through the garden, it’s a complex working relationship between many parts of the body. Are there tricks we could learn to make walking less stressful on our bodies? Yes! Day one we will talk about the walk – how does your walking compare to the theories of walking? Day two we’ll walk and talk, putting into practice what we’ve learned on a guided tour of the beautiful Toronto Botanical Garden. Join us and rediscover the strength, agility, and joy of walking.

Must be able to walk up the steep incline which takes us to the Teaching Garden.

Program Schedule
Tuesdays, September 5th and 12th, 2023 (2 Sessions), 10 to 11 a.m.
