Workshop Descriptions
Join American bonsai legend Bill Valavanis this Thanksgiving weekend as part of TBS’ Commemorative 60th Anniversary Fall Show. The TBS will host two workshops with Bill throughout the weekend. Please click the date of your workshop (above) to reserve your spot.
Bring Your Own Bonsai Workshop – Saturday October 12th 10am – 1pm
Suited for experienced practitioners with refined trees. Don’t miss this opportunity to get personal tailored advice on your own trees, bring your babies to the next level!
Please bring 3-5 trees (size and scope dependent) as well as your own tools. Wire, lunch, and access to the show on the day of the workshop included
Itoigawa Shimpaku Juniper Workshop – Sunday October 13th 10am – 1pm
Suited for beginner/intermediate practitioners. Set yourself up with a coveted stylized Itoigawa Shimpakujuniper that will no doubt become the staple of your collection. Please bring shears, pruners, and wire cutters if you have them.
Juniper, wire, lunch, and access to the show on the day of the workshop included.
Both workshops will include entry to show on the day of the workshop, lunch, and ample time to meet and chat about all things bonsai with one of the best bonsai professionals on this side of the Pacific.
