Seed Collecting Workshop

Discover a cost-effective and simple way to enhance your garden with beautiful perennial flowering plants, and take a piece of the Toronto Botanical Garden home with you! Join us for an engaging workshop where you’ll learn about ethical seed collecting and gain hands-on experience with seed collection and preparation techniques. You will learn ethical seed collecting principles, take a guided walk through the Toronto Botanical Garden to collect seeds from a variety of stunning perennial plants and gain insights on seed cleaning, storage and options for getting your seed to germinate.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this workshop will equip you with valuable knowledge and skills to expand your garden sustainably. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts and bring a bit of the Toronto Botanical Garden’s beauty into your own backyard!
