Plant Collecting 101

Join us for a fun-filled workshop and learn everything you need to know about growing your personal plant collection!

Tired of the same old plants? Interested in adding something new and exciting to your personal collection? In Plant Collecting 101 we will highlight some interesting species you should consider adding to your home (some of which will be for sale during the show!), go over their care needs and talk about how to source these plants. You will get to see live examples in person and be able to ask our horticulturists all your questions during a question-and-answer period.

Saturday, February 22 from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Registration: Public $20, TBG Members $15 (plus applicable taxes and fees)

About Sasan Beni

Sasan Beni is a writer turned Horticulturalist. He graduated with a diploma in Environmental Landscape Management from Seneca College, worked for the Toronto Zoo as a seasonal gardener, and joined TBG in 2020 as a Horticulturalist. His home is a revolving door of tropical plants.
