Join us for an urban adventure exploring hidden trails, spotting wildlife, and ending the day with a cozy bonfire under the city lights!

Living Wild in the City Hike & Fire

Knowledge based on natural relationships and cultural aspects of Indigenous people will be shared during this hike and fire with Alan Colley from Living Wild in the City. This outdoor tour to explore the local flora and fauna of the land will begin with an opening sharing circle and introductions, teachings about the environment and ecosystems and conclude with everyone gathering together around a fire.

About Alan Colley

Alan Colley is an Indigenous Anishinaabe Toronto resident with extensive knowledge of local geography, history, and ecosystems. Alan facilitates Indigenous culturally based workshops and tours focusing on self-improvement, motivation, and goal setting in recreational, educational, or corporate settings. Providing environmental education in all teachings benefit both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities greatly. While not leading tours, Alan can be found on the land, fishing, hiking, traveling, canoeing, snowboarding, and mastering traditional healing activities.
