Houseplant Clinic: What’s Wrong with My Indoor Plants?

Are you noticing yellow, droopy leaves on your houseplant? Perhaps you’ve also noticed sticky leaves or an infestation of little flies or spiders. Don’t worry – TBG Horticulturalists are here to help! Join us for this in-person houseplant clinic where we will introduce common problems and their remedies and then we’ll help you identify and solve common problems that your indoor plants may be experiencing! Remember, prevention is key when it comes to keeping your houseplants healthy.
Important: Your plant MUST be brought to TBG in a transparent plastic bags–this ‘portable greenhouse’ will keep your plant safe and keep your plant problems to your own plant. We cannot take the risk that your indoor plant problem becomes ours! Any plant not in a transparent bag will not be admitted. Please bring a maximum two problem plants per participant to ensure every-plant gets the attention it deserves.

Registration: Public $20, TBG Members $15 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
About Leslie Hockley
TBG’s Lead Horticulturist, Leslie Hockley is passionate about all things public gardens. Before joining TBG in 2023, Leslie worked for several botanical gardens in North America in garden maintenance, design, tree care and plant records roles. She is a Red Seal Endorsed Horticulturist and has studied horticulture at Humber College and the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture.
