Honey Harvest at the Garden
September 7 @ 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

Get ready for a sweet day at the garden! Join us for a full-day Honey Harvest experience where you’ll learn how to extract honey from hive to jar—straight from the beehives happily living at the Toronto Botanical Garden and around our City. Guided by our expert beekeepers from Bees Are Life, you’ll explore the entire honey harvesting process, from uncapping and spinning the frames, to reclaiming the beeswax, to filtering and bottling your own golden jar to take home.
All materials provided.
Please note: While we won’t be visiting the beehives themselves, you’ll still get an up-close look at the tools, techniques, and traditions of honey extraction in a safe, hands-on environment.
