Guided Breathwork Experience: Springing
March 22 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Toronto Botanical Garden has partnered with Mira Kopanarov, a Storyteller and Artist, to offer a six-month breathwork experience program for creative transformation. Each class is independent and tailored towards gradual body and mind care. You can register for as many or as few as you like.
The Guided Breathwork Experience program at the Toronto Botanical Garden uniquely combines breath with storytelling, movement, and nature to create a healthy and creative journey into the new year. Each class’ focus will be different, progressively allowing your awareness and body to be healthier and energized. The facilitator will help you with grounding, emotional resilience, community support, and ultimately cultivating freedom and confidence in all areas of life through day-to-day practices.

Springing in March will be about embodying the qualities of Spring. We go through multiple transitions in life. The real meaning of self care is finding confidence and care for yourself in every moment throughout the day. During this class we will focus on how to use deep breath and creative expression to discover the passion for the next chapter in life. Furthermore, how to have smoother and healthier transitions.
Lives change so rapidly that the skill to pause will be highly valued for its inherently intelligent way to reflect and make an informed decision. No matter your age and career status, health concerns or upbringing, we all share a rapidly evolving world that is providing challenging problems to solve.
When we pause, we allow the kindness we have cultivated, the experience and passion to lead the way. If we are in a constant fight-or-flight mode this is what our world will look like too.
The breathwork class includes mediation, creative practice, active breathing for 40 mins, and movement. The session is complimented by organic teas and gifts to take home. The entire session lasts 2+ hours.
March is a month to welcome new seasons with the experience built from enduring the harsher winter months. Like with any seasonal changes we need to prepare for the transition period and clean any remaining debris from the garden to start the new harvest.
Saturday, March 22 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
