Fused Glass: Winter Scene Plate Workshop
November 7 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Design and create a beautiful winter-themed glass plate!
Imagine: There is a slight nip in the air, the snow-covered landscape, the crunching of snow beneath your feet. Millean Kung will guide participants through making a 6” by 6” glass plate. You will learn how to cut glass and how to piece them together to create your winter scene. Participants will also learn about the types of glass, the tools involved, and techniques used.
All materials will be provided. This course welcomes beginners.
Please note: Participants’ creations will be fired off-site and will be ready for pickup in about 6 to 8 weeks.

Public $115, TBG Members $110 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
About Millean Kung
Born and raised in Toronto, Millean discovered pottery and glass art more than 10 years ago. Currently, she is a member of the of the Potter’s Studios in Scarborough and is involved in the Small Business Arts Mentorship Program at Glasstronomy Studios in Markham. Since retiring from education, Millean has devoted her time to her pottery and glass art. She is the sole proprietor of her business, “1 in a Millean,” and participates in a number of arts and crafts shows.
Millean also loves to garden and is a member and a volunteer at the Toronto Botanical Garden. To keep her schedule busy she enjoys cooking and baking.
