Fused Glass: Fall Scene Plate Workshop

Design and create a beautiful fall-themed glass plate!
Cool crisp air? Colourful leaves? Think fall. Capture the fall colours in this fused glass class. Using Glassline Paint, coloured frit, and stringers, Millean Kung will guide you through creating your own fall scene on a 6” x 6” plate. You will learn about the various types of glass, tools involved, and techniques used.
All materials will be provided. This course welcomes beginners.
Please note: Participants’ creations will be fired off-site and will be ready for pick up in about 4 – 6 weeks.

Public $115, TBG Members $110 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
About Millean Kung
Born and raised in Toronto, Millean discovered pottery and glass art more than 10 years ago. Currently, she is a member of the of the Potter’s Studios in Scarborough and is involved in the Small Business Arts Mentorship Program at Glasstronomy Studios in Markham. Since retiring from education, Millean has devoted her time to her pottery and glass art. She is the sole proprietor of her business, “1 in a Millean”, and participates in a number of arts and crafts shows.
Millean also loves to garden and is a member and a volunteer at the Toronto Botanical Garden. To keep her schedule busy, she enjoys cooking and baking.
