Floral Design Program: Designing with Lilies, Tropicals & Orchids

Get ready to unleash your creativity with lilies, tropicals & orchids in this hands-on floral design class. These are truly special flowers for design, each having unique characteristics that offer something special for designers. Explore the history of these flowers and key horticultural characteristics, including their diverse colours, forms, and textures. You will also learn how to create outstanding traditional and contemporary arrangements.
Wednesdays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 6 to 9 p.m.
Public $240, Members $190 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
Registration Deadline: Friday, March 27 at 12:00 PM.
Please note: Course fees do not include flowers or supplies. Students are encouraged to find a local flower shop or grocery store to purchase their flowers. A materials list will be e-mailed prior to the start of each class.
About Lil Taggart
Lil Taggart is an experienced and creative designer and instructor in Floral Arts. She is also an accredited Floral Design Judge and has competed on an international level as well as domestically. She serves on the board of Canada Blooms, co-chairs the staging for the Toronto Flower Show, is past president of the Georgetown Horticultural society and is a member of The Garden Club of Toronto.
