Let’s get our hands dirty and learn how to create beautiful container gardens using native plants with your family!

Come join us at the Toronto Botanical Garden for a fun and educational Family Native Plant Container Workshop! Learn about the benefits of native plants and create beautiful plant containers using native plants that are perfect for your garden or balcony. Your native plant container garden will feed butterflies and caterpillars and provide seeds for the birds. Our instructors will guide you through the process, providing tips and tricks along the way. This hands-on workshop is suitable for all ages, so bring the whole family along for a day of creativity and greenery. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with nature and learn something new!

All materials are included. You will take home the following:

-A pot with soil and 5-6 native plants

-Native Plant information sheet

Registration:

TBG Members: $10 per group (up to 5 participants) (plus applicable taxes and fees)

Public: $15 per group (up to 5 participants) (plus applicable taxes and fees)

Self-Identifying Equity Deserving: $0 per group (up to 5 participants)

Please note: Each registration provides entrance to up to 5 participants in a group, family or household. Each group, family or household will create one planter together to take home.
