
Fused Glass: Tree Motif Tealight Workshop
March 8 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Imagine a small grove of trees or a crop of mushrooms with a small tealight inside. Under the guidance of Fused Glass Artist Millean Kung, you will be able to create two (2) Fused Glass Tealight Holders. During the class you will learn about fused glass, compatibility, how to cut glass, safety, and the firing of glass. All material and tools are included in this course and Beginners are welcome.
Samples of these tealights can be seen in the Garden Shop.
Please note: the glass creations will be fused off-site and be available for pick up in 3 to 4 weeks following the class.
Saturday, March 8 from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Registration: Public $115, TBG Members $105 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
About Millean Kung
Born and raised in Toronto, Millean discovered Pottery and Glass Art more than 10 years ago. Currently, she is President of the Potter’s Studios in Scarborough and is involved in the Small Business Arts Mentorship Program at Glasstronomy Studios in Markham. Since retiring from education, Millean has devoted her time to her Pottery and Glass Art. She is the sole proprietor of her business, “1 in a Millean”, and participates in a number of Arts and Crafts Shows.
Millean also loves to garden and is a member and a volunteer at the Toronto Botanical Garden. To keep her schedule busy she enjoys cooking and baking.
