Summer Day Camp Visits: Pollinator Pals at the Toronto Botanical Garden

Pollinator Pals is an engaging and educational fully outdoor pollinator-themed summer day camp visit at the Toronto Botanical Garden. This two-hour outdoor program is designed to offer children a unique opportunity to explore the world of pollinators and their vital role in our ecosystem.

Activities include themed games, bug catching/scavenger hunt, making seed balls or watering plants in our Teaching Garden, and learning about worms that keep our soil healthy!

The Pollinator Pals program is offered Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. between July to August.

Extended exploration: Want to extend your visit?  Pollinator Pals comes with a hike-in-a-bag filled with nature interpretation tools, such as maps, identification guides, books, bug boxes, and scavenger hunt sheets, to assist the group continue their adventure in the Toronto Botanical Garden, Edwards Garden and Wilket Creek through self-guided exploration after the program.

While the program is designed to be outdoors rain or shine, a back-up indoor space will be available in case of extreme dangerous weather. We advise everyone to dress according to the day’s weather.

  • Ages: 6-10 years old (Contact us if outside the suggested age range)
  • Dates: Tuesdays through Fridays starting July to August
  • Times: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Group size: 20 to 60 participants (Must meet program minimum of 20)
  • Fees: $10+HST per participant
