Peppermint Tea

Peppermint is known as the perfect pick-me-up with its renewing, refreshing and energizing qualities. It is well known as a digestive aid and helps relieve nausea and gas. Its main active agent, menthol, works like a decongestant and can help loosen up phlegm and helps with cough.

What You’ll Need

  • 1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves
  • 1 cup of water
  • Sugar or sweetener to taste

To Make the Tea

Steep 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint leaves in one cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste.
