Who We’re Looking For
We welcome people from all walks of life who bring passion, expertise, and a commitment to our mission. At this time, we are seeking one individual to join the Board.
We’re especially interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Fundraising – Identify potential donors, assist with strategies to cultivate and steward donors, identify fundraising gaps, and ensure TBG has strong philanthropic support to achieve our goals.
- Government Relations – Identify and support the CEO to strengthen, foster, and establish relationships with key government stakeholders.
- Community Engagement & Equity – Outreach, community engagement, inclusivity, accessibility, and creating a strong sense of belonging for all.

- A three-year term with the possibility of renewal, with opportunities to contribute through monthly board meetings (last Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.), committees, and events.

Board Nomination Process

Nominations will be accepted until April 27, 2025, with the election of Board Directors at the Annual General Meeting on June 18, 2025. At this time, we are seeking one Director to join the Board.
Applicants under consideration will be contacted for a personal interview with the members of the Nominations Committee in May.
The Nominations Committee is comprised of Board Directors and the Chief Executive Officer. Final recommendations will be approved by the Board in May, followed by the election of new Board Directors at the Annual General Meeting in June 2025.
