Discover Toronto’s Ravines

Wednesday, July 7, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Join Ellen Schwartzel on behalf of the Toronto Field Naturalists and Tisha Tan from Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for an engaging introduction to Toronto’s ravine landscapes. Learn about ravine wildlife, the critical ecological services that ravines deliver to our city, and the remarkable history of our ravines. Explore the 21st century challenges facing the ravines and their biodiversity, and the ways Toronto Field Naturalists are lending a hand. Hear from ecologist Katherine Baird and TBG’s seasonal gardener Sasan Beni for their perspective on the Wilket Creek Ravine and what you can do to get involved!
