Before We Stood Tall by Jessica Kulekjian

Saturday, November 20, 10 to 11 a.m.

Join children’s author Jessica Kulekjian and learn about the life cycle of trees and how they cooperate in forest communities through an underground network of fungus. Through movement and pretend-play, participants will re-create their own forest community in their home, discuss tree rings, and imagine a conversation between trees. Jessica will also read from her new book, Before We Stood Tall: From Small Seed to Mighty Tree, which follows a backwards movement through the life cycle of trees.

This program runs approximately 30 minutes, leaving plenty of time for questions afterwards. Attendees will also receive a free printable pdf for extending the learning experience.

Order your copy of Before We Stood Tall from TBG’s Garden Shop.
