ZimSculpt returns after a sell-out exhibition last year

Back for its second year, with an entirely new collection just for the Toronto Botanical Garden, the ZimSculpt team will be back with a show-stopping, jaw-dropping display of over 500 stone sculptures made by hand and brought from the depths of the Zimbabwean (3 billion year old) mountains.  Admission is free and all sculptures are available for purchase. The exhibition runs from June 29 through September 8, 2019.

Over 100 large sculptures will be displayed throughout the gardens and along with the very popular Marketplace where there will be hundreds of handheld pieces available for purchase. The setting of Toronto’s most beautiful garden for this great art highlights the beauty of both.

All pieces are available for sale and delivery and installation of larger pieces will be for free locally.

Zimbabwean sculptors Brighton Layson and Passmore Mupindiko will be back again, directly from Zimbabwe – demonstrating daily and answering questions about the stone, technique and their inspirational stories.

“We’re so excited to come back to Toronto and visit all the wonderful people we met last year.” says Vivienne and Joseph Croisette, “We’re also hoping to connect with many new visitors who missed our show last year. We have so much to showcase, with new artists and sculptures, we will be offering free guided tours every weekend.”
