Lavender Tea

Everyone knows lavender is known for its beauty as well as fragrance, but what many do not know that lavender has profound calming, uplifting and relaxing properties. Studies show that lavender helps slow down the nervous system, improves the quality of sleep and promotes relaxation.

What You’ll Need

  • 4 teaspoons of fresh lavender buds
  • 1 cup of water
  • Sugar or sweetener to taste

To Make the Tea

Pour one cup of boiling water over 4 teaspoons of lavender buds and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste.
