Ginger Tea

Ginger is often associated with winter due to its warming properties. But, while this pungent herb does help boost circulation during the winter, is it also known to calm the upset stomach and ease nausea in general.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 to 5 thin slices of ginger root
  • 1 cup of water
  • Sugar or sweetener to taste

To Make the Tea

Steep 3 to 5 thin slices of ginger root in boiling water for 3 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste.

*Alternatively, you can grate the ginger root into a tea ball and steep for 3 minutes.
