Throughout the autumn, grasses, shrubs, trees and some perennials provide colour, texture and movement at Toronto Botanical Garden. Our informative and engaging tours of these 17 unique, all-organic, urban-scale gardens are designed to help you gain a greater understanding of their plants, the natural landscape, landscape design and history. Toronto Botanical Garden is a Registered Charity and is situated in Edwards Gardens at the corner of Lawrence Avenue and Leslie Streets.
We would be happy to custom-tailor a nominally priced tour package to fit your needs. We offer tours in English, French, German, Italian, Persian, Kurdu, Russian and Hebrew.
You can arrange to bring a guide with your group to do a simultaneous translation of our knowledgeable tour guide’s talk.
We also offer tours of Allan Gardens. This is a truly beautiful and historic indoor garden housed under 16,000 square feet of glass, and is warm and welcoming whatever the weather.
October 7th to mid-November: Enjoy a spectacular fall display of chrysanthemums
December 4 to January 16: Poinsettias take centre stage
January to March: The fragrant spring bulb show is on view, offering you a lovely winter getaway without leaving the city.
Book a tour with confidence, knowing that our friendly, knowledgeable, fully trained guides will take you through these gardens and make your day memorable. Or consider giving the gift of a tour to a garden-loving friend. It’s modestly priced, and what could be more perfect for a birthday, holiday or simply a special treat?
