TBG Organic Farmers’ Market
Before the concert, do your grocery shopping at the Organic Farmers’ Market which runs every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. until October 2013. Local farmers will feature seasonal fruits and vegetables. Don’t miss the strawberries next week!
Before each lively performance, pick up a delicious light supper at the TBG Garden Café, housed in the historic barn near the vegetable garden. The Garden Café is operated by a family-run farm business. It doesn’t get any fresher! The café is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with extended hours on concert evenings.
FREE Guided Tours
You can also take part in a FREE guided tour of the gardens Tuesday at 10 a.m. or Thursdays at 6 p.m. Or, rent one of our NEW handheld audio tours from the shop ($5) for your own personal tour of the gardens. These engaging, informative tours will give you a bit of history and practical information about the TBG’s 17 contemporary gardens. The tours are enthusiastically narrated by Canadian garden celebrities including Sonia Day, Charlie Dobbin, Denis Flanagan, Marjorie Harris and Paul Zammit.
