This unique program takes place in the TBG’s James Boyd Children’s Centre and the surrounding grounds. Living Winter provides innovative, curriculum-linked habitat programs for children, and encourages students to appreciate this urban green space from new perspectives through immersion and hands-on learning. Each program supports the Ontario science curriculum for Grade 4 students, and is designed and taught by Ontario Certified Teachers.
Previously available only to priority students, all Grade 4 students now have the opportunity to explore outdoor winter habitats, dissect owl pellets, examine pelts and skulls, and even hand-feed chickadees!
Spaces for the Living Winter 2012/2013 season are limited and filling up fast! Book now to avoid disappointment.
