Attracting & Photographing Backyard Birds
Calling all bird lovers! Enjoy either or both of these classes of photography and nature as you learn how to welcome birds to your backyard in part one and then how to photograph them in part two. Join owner/operator of Wild Birds Unlimited, Jim Mackiewicz on Saturday for the fast facts on attracting and supporting winter birds in the city. Admire them further by capturing them through photographs with wildlife photographer Max Skwarna who will take students out for a winter bird walk in Lambton Woods on Sunday.

Get up close and smell the roses in this floral macro photography work¬shop for DSLR cameras with profes¬sional photographer/ plant enthusiast Max Skwarna. Learn to work with your camera’s macro settings to control and capture light, regulate depth and focus, enhance and compose images all while capturing small and spectacular parts of a variety of flowers. Explore specialized macro photography equipment, flash applications for indoors and out and additional software effects. There will be scheduled time to review images for class critique.
