TBG is a charitable organization that raises over 95% of its annual operating budget through donations and grants. Friends are the TBG’s community of donors comprising members who extend their generosity with a donation in addition to the cost of a membership. Their annual support sustains the TBG’s signature programs and help develop new ones. Friends at the various levels of giving enjoy the following benefits:
FRIEND – $100 to $499
Friends enjoy all the benefits of membership plus:
- Charitable receipt for the maximum allowable amount of your donation
- Your name listed in Trellis magazine
- Invitation to Circle of Friends workshop/seminar
SUSTAINING FRIEND – $500 to $999
All of the above benefits plus:
- Permanent plate in a selected book in the Weston Family Library
- Invitation to an exclusive Friends’ reception with an Edwards’ Lecture speaker
BENEFACTOR – $1,000 to $2,499
All of the above benefits plus:
- A gift individual membership for a friend or family member
- One complimentary three-hour course of your choice
- Two complimentary passes to Through The Garden Gate, the TBG’s annual
- June tour of private gardens in a selected Toronto neighbourhood.
DIRECTOR’S CIRCLE – $2,500 to $4,999
All of the above benefits plus:
- An invitation to an event in a private home and garden with a special guest
- Exclusive advance tour of select gardens at Through the Garden Gate accompanied by a Master Gardener.
PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE – $5,000 or more
All of the above benefits plus:
- Reserved VIP seating at all Edwards Lectures
- An exclusive behind the scenes tour of the TBG with a Master Gardener
