Toronto Botanical Garden offers exciting hands-on programming for Scouts and Guides that promotes nature awareness and exploration. These unique programs are designed to help participants work towards environmentally-themed badges.
Sparks, Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, and Guides
[TG13SOP] “Who-o-o” knows how many owls make the forests of Toronto their home? Learn about these incredible animals, dissect an owl pellet, go on a short guided winter hike, and search for owl homes.
Scouts and Guides
[TR13SDH] On this guided hike through Toronto Botanical Garden, Edward Gardens and Wilket Creek Park, participants will learn about animals, insects and how we are all connected. Build animal shelters, and study habitats, erosion, invasive species, and discover the importance of a healthy ecosystem.
Sparks and Beavers
[TG13SEH] Learn all about the natural world on a hike through Toronto Botanical Garden and Edward Gardens. Explore interesting animal shelters and discover amazing plants on a nature scavenger hunt. Plant seeds in our organic Teaching Garden and meet our decomposing worms.

- $200 includes up to 20 children and up to four adults
- Additional children or adults $10 each
