Do you have new health and safety protocols due to COVID-19?
Yes we do. Click here to read our updated health and safety plans to help keep our visitors, guests and staff safe.

Where can I park?
There is a large paid parking lot adjacent to the TBG. It is available on a first come, first serve basis. All proceeds from the parking lot support the botanical garden which is a registered charity.

Can I hold an outdoor ceremony?
Yes, the Floral Hall and Garden Hall spaces both have attached courtyards. You may also rent the Perennial Border and Kitchen Garden.

Is your venue licensed?
No. A Special Occasion Permit (SOP) from the LCBO must be purchased and displayed at every event where alcohol is served. No permit, no alcohol. The SOP application can be downloaded from www.lcbo.com

May I bring in my own caterer?
No. To ensure the best possible experience, we provide a list of exclusive caterers who have been selected for their exceptional creativity, level of professionalism and green mandate.

Do you offer a wedding suite?
Yes, we can provide a room for the couple and their wedding party in one of our studio or small meeting spaces, based on availability.

Is there a fee for the rehearsal?
Yes, there is a fee, please check with your sales rep for availability. This is a self directed 1 hour rehearsal booking.

Is photography permitted on the grounds?
Photography on the TBG grounds is only permitted the day of your booked event. For wedding photography at the TBG a permit is required.  For wedding photography in Edwards Gardens, please contact The City of Toronto at 416-392-8188.

Do you provide linens and dishes?
No. Linens, dishes and cutlery can be arranged through your caterer and must be rented from our exclusive rental supplier, Chair-man Mills.

Is your facility wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Our event spaces and main washrooms are wheel chair accessible.

Is your facility air-conditioned?
Yes, our facilities are fully air-conditioned.
